Q. What is your printing capability?

A. We have 3 Flexographic C.I. printing machines giving us up to 4 colours at 1.2m wide. We use water based and solvent based inks and handle substrates from 17gsm tissue up to 900 micron board.

Q What are your origination costs?

A. These depend on the format and complexity of the design and can vary from £200 per colour, for a simple low volume printing plate, to £400 per colour for a laser engraved cylinder. After sight of design and agreement of layout, we will confirm the cost to you.

Q. What are your other production capabilities?

A. Wax coating of papers and boards up to 1.3m wide.

A. Chemical treatment and coating to papers and boards up to 1m wide.

A. Precision slitting from a maximum 1.6m wide down to 19mm wide.

A. Sheeting up to 1.3m wide and 2m long,

A. Diecutting of papers, boards and gasket materials up to 1m in diameter.

Q. What is your lead time?

A. For new print orders this can be from 4 to 6 weeks, dependant on format of artwork and timing of approval of proofs. For repeats and all other orders, lead times are 2 to 4 weeks.

Q. Do you carry stocks of finished products?

A. Only on a contract basis as all our products are made to order.

Q. Do you use recycled papers?

A. Only where suitable. The majority of our substrates are derived from virgin pulp from well-managed and renewable sources.

Q. What is your minimum order value for a carriage paid delivery?

A. £500.

Q. How do I open an account ?

A. First order is on a pro-forma basis. Thereafter we may extend to COD or 30 days invoice date or, with the benefit of 2 good trade references and bank details, nett monthly. If an account is dormant for over 6 months it's terms will be reviewed and may revert to pro-forma or COD.
